Young grain growers invited to apply to leaders program

YOUNG grain producers are invited to apply for the Australian Grain Farm Leaders Program, which aims to develop the personal and business skills of the grains industry's future farming leaders.

The AGFLP is open to a maximum of 10 young Australian grain producers who are:

  • Aged between 25 and 40 years, with more than two years' experience in farming or a grain enterprise;
  • Keen to enhance their grains industry leadership; and
  • Want to develop personal and professional leadership knowledge and skills

Candidates who apply must be available to attend three face-to-face sessions over the course of 2014, they are:

Sydney & Wagga Wagga February 24 - 28, Toowoomba July 6 - 8, and Adelaide September 30 - October 1.

Accommodation and travel costs to attend these events will be covered by GrainGrowers.
