Clifton program on Landline
THE much-anticipated story on Clifton State High School's successful equine program will now air in the summer series of ABC Television's Landline program on Sunday, December 29.
A shorter version of the Landline story will also be shown in 7.30 Queensland which is on ABC on a Friday night at 7.30pm, during the next week or so.
Sustainable Ag workshops
CONDAMINE Alliance, through their sustainable agriculture program, will run the Regional Outlook - What's on the Horizon workshop in Millmerran on Tuesday, December 3.
The workshop aims to deliver vital information to primary producers so they can analyse and build different aspects of their business.
Workshop facilitator Julia Telford said the Millmerran forum followed on from similar workshops held in Warwick and Clifton.
Wild dog war drags on
THANES Creek woolgrowers Andrew and Kim Costello lost more than 20 lambs last week as a pack of wild dogs tormented their flock.
Mr Costello shot three wild dogs from a pack of at least four which were responsible for the killing spree.
The attack highlights the ongoing battle local producers face in combating wild dogs.
