UPDATE 11:20AM: Traffic is now back to normal in Yarraman with police and Toowoomba Regional Council having cleared the crash area.
The driver of the truck was unharmed and there were no reported injuries.
According to Officer in Charge Allan Gerrard, police and workers from Toowoomba Regional Council were sent to clear the crash area.
"There was damage to some cattle and some of them had to be euthanized," Sgt Gerrard said.
He estimated that around 15 cattle needed to be put down.
Traffic was diverted out of Yarraman with the assistance of local SES but is now back to normal.
Sgt Gerrard said there were only minor delays to traffic during the diversion.
EARLIER: A cattle truck has rolled over in Yarraman leading to the death of many livestock according to reports.
According to locals in the area, a truck rolled near the intersection at D'Agular Highway and Barr Smith Road at around 4am this morning.
The highway out of Yarraman towards Blackbutt is currently being diverted with an estimated five minute delay.
Nathan Ballinger from the business Henry's at Yarraman said the truck in the accident had been cleared up at around 8:30am.
Local SES and council are still cleaning up the area.
