CAMPDRAFTING: Riders from Clermont and Dirranbandi are the leaders after the first three hours of competition today in the Vanderfield Hino Ladies Silver Cup campdraft at the Warwick Showgrounds.

Kerry Turner from Clermont riding Hingus and Dirranbandi rider Sarah Cookson on Paradise each have 90.

Turner is a past event champion in the Australian Professional Rodeo Association but is now concentrating on campdrafting.

The Cookson family from Dirranbandi donated the cattle used in round 1 of the Pryde's EasiFeed Warwick Gold Cup, a massive contribution to the sport. Sarah has been one of the best ladies campdrafters on the circuit in recent years.

Vickl Hiscock from Maffra in Victoria has just moved into third place with 89 on Steph.

Kylie Weber from Geurie, New South Wales, is in equal fourth place on Rory with Beaudesert campdrafter Kimberley Sammon on Pussy Skills. Both have scores of 88.

Goomburra rider Kim Daley has 85 riding Kamara Barrister.

The horse is owned by Errol and Clare Cooper. Errol scored 89 on Barrister in round 1 of the Black Toyota Canning Downs Campdraft so is assured of a round 2 run.

Daley will be hoping to make the ladies final with her 85 on Barrister but it will depend on what the cutoff score is for finalists at the end of all runs today.
