GOLD Coast surfer dads Paul and Blair continued their winning streak on My Kitchen Rules.
The teachers were victorious in tonight's pop-up restaurant challenge, which saw diners vote with their wallets.
The eight remaining teams had to devise and prepare a dish to serve 300 hungry diners, who got to choose which of the restaurants at which they wanted to eat.
It was twice the amount of customers the teams have ever had experience of cooking for in the previous food truck challenges.
The cheeky duo joked about feeling lonely as the only "dude team" left on the show.
But their well-cooked lamb and not too spicy sauce went down a treat, with the well-organised cooks serving up plenty of diners.
"Dealing with the public you thrive and guys, you did it again today," Evans said.
The only other man still on the show is food scientist Josh, who just narrowly survived elimination last night with his partner Danielle.
They used their much-loved technique of sous vide to cook mouth-watering steaks, but the judges questioned how long the process took.
"That piece of beef just melted in the mouth," Manu Feildel said.
"But for me I think the sous vide was a waste of time on a piece of meat like this."
Tonight's challenge was a chance for redemption for SA mums Bree and Jessica, who crumbled under the pressure of the last food truck challenge in Brisbane and in the subsequent showdown cook-offs.
They were the most organized team of the day, and the first to serve customers.
Bree called it "Bree and Jessica 2.0".
"It was good to see you got your confidence back," Evans aid.
Tensions flared up once again between Kelly and Chloe and Helena and Vikki, with both teams cooking fish in their side-by-side restaurants.
The twins were praised for their simple, but well-executed dish, while Kelly and Chloe's modern take on tuna moray was a flop with diners and the judges.
Thalia and Bianca's time management issues lead to customers getting up and leaving their restaurant without being served.
But once the girls found their rhythm, customers snapped up their dish and their persistence paid off.
"In my opinion it was the most ambitious, but was it worth the wait? It most certainly was," Feildel said.
"For me it was the dish of the day."
While Paul and Blair won the "lamb off" against Carly and Tresne, it was an unpleasant pesto which sent the blondes to sudden death again.
"Apart from the look of it, I didn't enjoy the taste of it. It was unpleasant," Pete Evans said.
While Paul and Blair were "shocked" to win the people's choice for a second time, Carly and Tresne weren't surprised to find themselves at the bottom of the pile.
"Being the weakest dish doesn't mean it was a weak dish," Feildel said.
"You should all be proud of what you created today."
The amount of money the teams earned at their restaurants tonight will affect them in tomorrow night's head-to-head challenge.
