EVENTS began at the Heritage Toowoomba Royal Show this week with all the horse action on the main arena.
Royal Agricultural Society of Queensland chief executive officer Damon Phillips said entertainment was a key focus of this year's show, with multiple arenas set up for show-goers to kick back and catch 10 shows for $10.
"Entertainment is really the key and what we've been trying to do over the last few years is slow the (foot) traffic down because what used to happen is that a lot of people would come in and two hours later leave," he said.
About 15,000 entries have been received for various events in the show.
