AUSTRALIA'S best, along with a couple of key international bull riders including New Zealand champion Frazer Babbington and the United States' Zack Brown, are set to converge on Toowoomba for one huge night of extreme bull riding and a sporting entertainment experience like no other.
Forty of the most accomplished bull riders in the nation have been confirmed to compete in the $6000 Tuff Bullbars Touring Pro Series on Saturday, October 20, at Toowoomba's Clive Berghofer Stadium for what is going to be one of the toughest Professional Bull Riding Touring Pro Series events of the year.
The field of riders consists of numerous Australian champions, current and past, state champions, circuit champions from Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Northern Territory, New Zealand and South Australia, World Finals qualifiers and members of the Australian World Cup team.
There is a lot at stake for riders, with the November Cup Series around the corner and all points and money won from this competition counting towards the World Finals.
Since this is the second-last qualifying event for the upcoming Cup Series, each rider is hungry to get seeded in the standings early and secure a spot where they will compete for more than $80,000 in prizemoney in the three major international events.
With so many great bulls for riders to draw, it is all going to come down to the rider that can cover his first bull and earn enough points to make it back into the top 10 Championship Round, where they will do battle with the top 10 bulls in the competition, including the previously unridden and contender for the 2013 Australian Champion Bucking Bull, "Suicidal".
Gates open from 5.30pm, with all the action starting at 7.30pm.
Get pre-sale tickets at the Toowoomba Bullzye Store, pbraustralia.com or phone 49454450. Or get them at the gate.
