THE Mackay mills crushed 219,159 tonnes for the week, with maintenance stoppages at all factories attributing to significant downtime.
Farleigh Mill's sugar rate was down, but remains above target. A maintenance day increased performance at Racecourse Mill, but supply issues masked improvements.
Marian Mill continues to experience challenges, with repairs to No1 boiler gauge glass and dryer motor restricting throughput. The Mackay mills processed 4,051,497 tonnes, which equates to 81.02% of the forecast crop.

Plane Creek region cane supply manager Tony Marino said 57,846 tonnes of cane was crushed for the week.
"The milestone of one million tonnes crushed was passed on Thursday. The average CCS for the season has reached 15.01," he said.
Mr Marino said a cleaning intermission was held on Thursday and shredder tips replaced. The Karloo loco broke down on Friday night and will be out of service for repairs until late next week.
The highest CCS sample was from a rake of second ratoon Q208 at 18.18 from the Dawlish Productivity District.
The cane crushed this week was 57,846 and the season to date is 1,022,185. The average bin weight this week was 3.95 and the season to date is 3.93.
