Man airlifted to hospital after truck rolls

A MAN, 30, was airlifted to Mackay Base Hospital after the truck he was driving rolled on Goonyella Rd, Moranbah this morning.

The accident happened at 7am when the man swerved to avoid a kangaroo at speed and rolled his truck, spilling the load.

The man suffered only minor injuries and was airlifted in a stable condition by RACQ CQ Rescue to Mackay, arriving at 10.10am.
