Man in 50s injured after horse throws him from saddle

THE Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has flown to a rural property near Horse Camp south west of Gin Gin.

A male in his late 50s sustained suspected spinal injuries after the horse reared and threw him from the saddle.

The rescue helicopter landed at the scene of the accident and transported the patient to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.
