THE annual store sale at the Bohning Yards at Alice Springs yarded over 3200 cattle last week.
The cattle sold to a large gallery of buyers from South Australia, Victoria and Queensland.
Some cattle were showing signs of the drying season in particular the lighter younger cattle.
EU and Organic graded cattle sold to similar rates.

Lucy Creek Station sold 80 quality Angus cross store steers for 340 c/kg weighing 255 kg returning $869 per head and also sold angus cross feeder steers for 326 c/kg weighing 404 kg returning $1318 per head.
Bond Springs Station sold a pen of poll hereford steers for 324 c/kg weighing 271 kg returning $880 per head.
White Gums Station sold Milk & Two Tooth Hereford cross steers for 280 c/kg weighing 488 kg returning $1366 per head.
Henbury Station sold angus cross steers for 320 c/kg weighing 321 kg returning $1030 per head.
Hewitt Cattle Co sold a pen of santa/droughtmaster cross heifers for 278 c/kg weighing 367 kg returning $1021 per head.
Umbearra Station sold a pen of 77 red angus steers for 318 c/kg weighing 433 kg returning $1376 per head and also sold good quality red angus heifers for 294 c/kg weighing 395 kg returning $1161 per head.
The Garden Station sold hereford steers for 321 c/kg weighing 324 kg returning $1040 per head.
Delmore Downs sold santa/angus cross steers for 334 c/kg weighing 348 kg returning $1162 per head.
Aileron Station sold angus cross steers for 312 c/kg weighing 292 kg returning $911 per head.
Yambah Station sold a line of quality shorthorn steers for 300 c/kg weighing 405 kg returning $1218 per head and also sold a line of heifers for 289 c/kg weighing 314 kg returning $908 per head.
