THE trusteeship of the $1.3million Graham Park Trust fund will move from NSW Farmers to a new entity Dairy Connect after the results of a ballot were released yesterday.

Most dairy members of NSW Farmers who voted in the ballot decided the fund, held in trust for dairy farmers in NSW, will be managed by Dairy Connect.

NSW Farmers president Fiona Simson said the association's role throughout the ballot process was keeping members informed and enabling them to decide their future.

"Our members have spoken now and we respect their decision," she said.

Ms Simson said the ballot was about where the trusteeship should reside, not about membership of NSW Farmers or Dairy Connect, which was up to individual dairy farmers.
