DO YOU think you have what it takes to be Roma's ultimate farmer?

The Young Farmer's Challenge will be running again at this year's Roma Show and it's set to be bigger and better.

Contrary to what you may think, you do not need to have any prior knowledge or skills of being a farmer to take part in the challenge.

All you need is a team of four and you could have a chance at coming away with a cash prize.

Event organiser Kirsty Keel said it was all about having fun and just giving it a go.

"There's going to be quite a few different challenges within it," she said.

"And there are definitely no farming skills required."

Ms Keel said entrants team's of four could be made up of both women and men and of any age.

"We are hoping to make it bigger and bigger every year," she said.

"It will be really entertaining for people to watch from the grand stand and it will just be a bit of fun."

If you wish to take part in the Young Farmer's Challenge you and your team will need to register between 3pm and 4pm on Saturday May 13 outside the secretary's office at Bassett Park.

Entry in to the event is free and there's a top prize of $200 up for grabs.

The challenge will kick off from 4.30pm on the Saturday.
