HEAD along and catch yourself a carp in Warwick this Sunday as part of World Rivers Day.

Condamine Headwaters Landcare group and Warwick Fishstocking Association, with the support of Condamine Alliance, are holding a Carp Catching Competition on the banks of the Condamine River.

Join in the action from 8am to midday at Scots Weir to Queens Park Weir in Warwick.

Prizes will include $100 for the biggest carp caught on the day and five $20 lucky draw prizes also up for grabs.

Register from 8am and bring your friends, family and fishing gear and see how many you can catch.

Registration tents will be located at Tiddalick and Queens Park Weir and all participants must be registered to be eligible for a prize.
