LIVESTOCK producer Atron Enterprises has been recognised for the fourth consecutive year at the 2012 Premier's NSW Export Awards, held recently.

Atron Enterprises was awarded Winner - Agribusiness category for outstanding export achievement in the field of agricultural products, services and technology.

More than 70% of Atron's beef is exported.

Founded in 2007 by managing director David Larkin, Atron is based in Casino.

"The 2012 winners of the Premier's NSW Export Awards are role models for other businesses in our state," Export Council of Australia executive director Ian Murray said.

"The innovation, persistence, and focus they have exhibited in taking on the world and winning, in a period where the Australian dollar is high and economic recovery is very fragile in many markets, is testament to their tenacity."

Mr Murray said Atron represented the cross-section of industry sectors in NSW that could compete on the world stage.

"We wish them well as they continue their export journey," he said.

Atron dedicated the award to their talented and committed team, their producers, processors and customers.
