TWO young Clydesdale geldings from The Grove in Adelaide Park, ex Earlesfield Stud at Dululu, took a couple of ribbons at the Ridgelands Show Saturday.

A great day and big crowd in saw the heavy horse section working away in a variety of harness and equipment.

Pictured from left is Barry with trainer Mel Jowsey, and his full brother Floyd with trainer Paul.

Barry collected his first ever ribbon being a second in the dual harness which he had not even trained for.

Floyd picked up his first ribbon at Show for third in the Gelding any age Class.

The boys also entered in the best of three Class with their strawberry roan featuring well but not good enough to beat the classic tan Clydesdales of the west.

Much to learn and we all look forward to exhibiting our Capricorn Coast heavy horses throughout CQ in the future.
