TAFE hosts equine training clinic
THE Equine Studies Centre at Trenayr TAFE campus is riding on a high after being chosen by Grafton Riding Club as the venue for a training clinic on August 19 and 20.
The event will feature world-renowned classical horse riding master Rodrigo Matos from the Portuguese School of Equitation.
Riders participating in the clinic will have the opportunity to further their riding and equitation skills and learn how to work horses in hand from the classical dressage perspective. The event will contribute to the ongoing commitment and development of the North Coast performance horse industry which is complemented by horse courses offered at the North Coast TAFE, Trenayr Campus.
Rodrigo Matos began riding at an early age and trained in the arts of classical equestrian training methods at Escola Portuguesa d' Arte Equestre.
