New website for auctions
LEADING agricultural auctioneers AuctionsPlus have just launched a new website.
Launched on June 16 after a period of intense development, AuctionsPlus allows commodity trading, reserve price setting and legal change of ownership without the buyer, seller or product having to come together physically at the same time.
General manager Gary Dick said the new website was designed to make it an even easier and more enjoyable user experience.
"The company has chosen to significantly invest in technology and back-end development to make it the easiest way to buy and sell stock and agricultural commodities."
With 47,500 registered users, 28,000 of which were regularly connecting, Mr Dick said that ease and functionality were top priorities when undertaking this important task.
"A stock agent might access the AuctionsPlus website up to four to six times a day to keep track and up to date," he said.
"This type of user experience has to be a top-notch one. We've designed in features and functions to ensure every user has a positive experience."
Results will stay online for up to 60 days with a revised format, but even more advantageously, a new Meet Reserve function allows the highest bidder on a passed-in lot to have the option to meet the reserve for the 90 minutes following the conclusion of an auction.
