Kioti Daedong ticks the boxes
WHEN farmers need farming equipment, the best person to talk to is someone who knows what they need from practical experience.
Rod Saunders of Apple Tree Creek Farmers Centre has been a farmer for more than 40 years and has been selling farm machinery just as long.
Rod has been involved in farming rice in Victoria's Riverina region, cattle and wheat around Emerald and sugar cane in the Tweed Valley and Childers.
"I know from my experience what farmers need and which equipment offers the best value for money," he said.
"As well as value, good farm equipment has to be reliable. It is no good if the price is right, but you never know if it will perform when you need it most. That's why we sell and recommend the Kioti Daedong range of tractors, because I believe they represent the best value for money and have an unbeatable reputation for reliability," Rod said.
"We offer a full range of Daedong tractors, from 22hp right up to the top of the range 100hp models, as well as all types of farming implements.
"The acceptance of the Daedong range is evidenced by the high take-up rate among the region's farmers, with 50 machines sold since 2008. As well as offering great value, some models are now available with an optional value package, which includes a carryall, a single-tine ripper and a grader blade, or a Howard Nugget slasher.
"They also have a two-year warranty. Prices start from about $21,395 including GST for the 22hp model.
"At the moment we are offering a Daedong DS3510, 35hp, four-wheel drive tractor and loader for just $24,695 including GST and freight to Childers.
"The DS3510 comes with eight forward and reverse speeds, power steering, independent PTO, 1647cc green Daedong diesel engine and heavy duty construction of 1475kg."
This model can also be fitted with a backhoe, 1.5m rotary hoe and a finishing mower deck.
"All models come with the option of either turf or industrial tyres - the choice is up to the customer."
Apple Tree Creek Farmers Centre also sells three models of the Daedong ride-on mower, one of which features zero turn. If your machinery needs repair or servicing, look no further than the Farmers Centre, where all repairs and servicing are carried out by quality mechanics.
"We know how downtime with machinery can affect farmers, so we also offer an on-site service to help keep downtime to a minimum," he said.
