ON DECEMBER 6 the Byron Farmers' Market will celebrate 10 years and everyone in the community is invited to the party.
Market president Heather Armstrong said it would be a special time.
"We felt that this was an occasion worth celebrating and we wanted the community to be involved," she said.
"The Thursday morning market will operate as usual on the day, but there will be lots of extra activities, guests and entertainment for everyone to enjoy."
Guests can see cooking demonstrations by local chefs, taste free samples, listen to musical entertainment by some of the region's favourite singers and have lots of fun with kids' entertainment and activities.
A history tent will showcase some of the market's best moments from the last 10 years with photographs and video displays.
To top it all off, the Byron Farmers' Market will launch its very own souvenir recipe magazine
Drop in at the event any time between 7am and 11am, Butler St Reserve, Byron Bay.
