Best of great outdoors
WHETHER it's for work or play there is sure to be something for you at the Yellow Pages 4WD, Caravan, Camping and Marine Show.
The show is the largest of its kind in regional NSW and a major fundraiser for Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter.
More than 15,000 people attend on average each year.
In 2012 the show celebrates its 15th anniversary alongside the helicopter's 30th anniversary so it is expected to be a huge celebration with more than 200 exhibitors showcasing the latest in outdoor products and services.
Event organiser Howard Atkinson said for people in rural communities the show was an opportunity to check out working gear as well as offering products and activities for leisure time.
"All the major car dealers will be here with everything from the family sedan to working 4WDs, generators, diesel services, camping and camping accessories, clothing and canvas goods, recreational vehicles and campers of every kind," he said.
"We also have a huge range of boats and fishing gear with all the accessories you need to catch the big ones.
"Hodgie the Barefoot Fisherman will be on hand to demonstrate his expertise in casting."
In the pavilions there are exhibitors showcasing everything from eco pot cooking gear, pillows, off road LED lights and more.
Bring along the whole family as there is plenty to interest the kids with NBN's Big Dog appearing daily, free face painting, stilt walkers and rides.
Gates open 9am to 4pm daily and parking is free. Admission is $12 adults, $10 government pensions and children under 14 enter free.
