WOMEN discussed the year that was on Monday when the Queensland Country Women's Association Toowoomba branch held its annual meeting.

About 30 women took part in the morning held at the Margaret St office.

Following the meeting, Darling Downs division committees and convenors discussed matters at hand and presented their reports.

The three committees included centre management, music and drama and the handcraft committee, while convenors co-ordinated floral art, cookery, knitting, crochet and photography.
